There is a hallway in the welcome/visitor center which features statues, busts and painting of Lincoln. All are original and unique and like this bust, celebrate Abraham Lincoln's accomplishments in keeping the union preserved and remembering his Gettysburg Address.
Walk to the right when you first enter the center (the information center will now be on your left), walk back and next to the museum entrance is the hallway, stay to the right and you will see all the Lincoln whatnots. The bust is on the left hand side.
This bust of Abraham Lincoln has been placed at precisely the height that would make Lincoln six foot four inches tall. Mounted at this height, visitors can look into Lincoln's eyes at his eye level. Pretty neat stuff.
