Two CSX mainlines cross near here. The line running N-S connects Atlanta, GA, and Birmingham, AL, (via Manchester, GA) with Jacksonville, FL The E-W (lower right to upper left) line connects Savannah, GA and the Atlantic Seaboard with New Orleans and the Gulf Coast. The Rice Yard is to the west of the location and is not visible from here. There is a maintenance facility below the bridge.
