An historic Spanish Public Well with an historical marker adjacent to it is located in the Plaza de la Constitucion in St. Augustine, Florida, USA. The well was filled and partially destroyed during British occupation from 1763-1784.

The historical marker (see below) states that it was restored in 1975 as a Bicentennial project of the City of St. Augustine. This old "Plaza Well" was designated as an American Water Landmark in 1981 (visit link).
