Formerly the Hersey Park, Mosaic Park was totally renovated in 2010 through funding by Mosaic Potash and labor provided by the Michigan Works Youth Employment Program. It was formally rededicated on June 5th at the annual Hersey Heritage Days celebration.
Although the park had been in existence for years, the removal of the village spillway and resulting re-routing of the Hersey River changed the parks landscape dramatically...most noticeably the drying up of the Hersey Pond and addition of a significant amount of landscape.
The park is operated by the Village of Hersey and contains 2 covered picnic areas, an outside gazebo, a children's play area, and restrooms. There is also 1 traditional cache located in the park.
