Thanks to help from the museum we have discovered the following information.
The first coat of arms is blue and gold. It belongs to Rev. C.W. Bingham who was from Binghams Melcombe (Melcombe Horsey or Higher Ansty). He was secretary of the museum between 1846 and 1882.
The second coat of arms is a white background with three cattle. It belongs to Lord Ashley who was Earl of Shaftesbury and President of the museum between 1846 and 1885.
Finally the third coat of arms depicts a large animal in the centre with birds around it. This belongs to Robert Williams from Tyneham who was treasurer of the museum from 1879 to 1928. He donated the site of the George Inn which is where the museum stands today. He was one of the largest cash subscribers to the museum.
