While searching for Civil Defense Items in the city.
I stopped into this store.
When I walked downstairs to the basement shop area, just before
getting off the stairs on the wall was a Shelter sign.
It had a capacity circle overlay on it, but it has fallen off.
It also has the STARTS HERE overlay.
I asked one of the workers about the sign. They said I'd have to
ask the owner across the street at the other Antique shop.
I was already over there before, and I asked her if the sign was for sale. She didn't know what I was asking about, and walked across the street to see it. I explained what the sign was, how long it was there for. And she replied, I do not want that there. If you clean the tape off the wall, you can have the sign for your effort.
There are no supplies or radiation detection equipment left.
There are no outside signs.
Capacity is Unknown, but looking at the size of the basement
I would guess at least 100 people.
I forgot my GPS at the time. So the spot is from out front. Since when I got back there, the store was closed.
