In the front yard of the converted house now used as the BSA's Seneca Waterways Council #397 is a flag pole dedicated to B. Emmet Finucane, a past president of the Otetiana Council, Inc. A plaque is on a small concrete monument in front of the flag pole and reads: "A tribute to B. Emmet Finucane/ past president of the Otetiana Council, Inc./ Boy Scouts of America and founder of its trust fund/ Dedicated 1986//" Mr. Finucane also wrote a book titled, "Security Trust, 60 years at Rochester (1892-1952)." This dedicated flag pole is located in the yard of 474 East Ave., Rochester, NY.
