Built in 1859, St. John's the Devine Anglican Church is British Columbia's oldest church. Originally built at Derby, a few kilometres upriver, it was dismantled in 1882 and floated down the river. Then hoisted up the bluff to be rebuilt.

Gertrude Agnes Dunning
By her family
