This Idaho Army National Guard tank is a static display that joins a number of aircraft and other displays in the Mountain Home area. Officially on loan from the government, the tank spent its working life of some three decades being used to train Idaho soldiers.
The original cost of an M-1, depending on the model and how it was equipped, was $2 million to $4 million. Its current value is $60,000 to $80,000. All of its internal parts have been removed and its body, or hull, is locked and will be welded shut.
Location restrictions: This area is open to everyone day or night with ample parking available.
