The sign depicts an oak tree, a crown in the foreground and a New Forest pony grazes in the background. The crown has oak leaves around it and the sky is as blue as when we were there.

New Forset ponies do graze near the pub and there are some gorgeous walks to be enjoyed to Irons Well, Eyeworth Pond and maybe even Studley Castle nearby.

Whilst we were here an attractive cart was parked outside the pub and a curious log appeared in the nearby glade.
