The walking tour was created in 1999 for the town's bicentennial. You'll need the brochure to guide yourself around downtown to see early homes, a covered bridge, a sycamore section where first "western" court was held, etc. To actually cover everything will require over a couple miles and hours walking (or relocating a vehicle several times).
My recommendation is to pick out half dozen items to more closely examine over an hour or so. Then come back to pick up some more. Late spring when the flowers are blooming or mid-fall with the trees turned are beautiful times to visit the region.

A picture at the start of the Trail or Walk is greatly appreciated. Additional photos taken during the course of the walk would also be of great benefit.
If there does not appear to be a defined beginning to the trail or walk, pick a logical place (e.g. close to parking) or where information about the walk or trail can be gathered.
