The Scott Polar Research Institute has several teams of researchers investigating a range of issues in both the environmental sciences and social sciences in relationship to the Arctic and the Antarctica. The Institute also operates the Polar Museum which is the public facing portion of the Institute. It has so has an extensive library on polar studies.
