Reka Berounka tvorí v této lokalite nekolik meandru, které zpomalují tok vody, umožnují obcasné vylití vody z koryta reky a podporují rust mokrin a mokradu. A práve zde hnízdí ruzné druhy vodního ptactva.
Mezi nejvíce zastoupené druhy patrí Lyska cerná, nekolik druhu potápek. Hnízdí zde i velké ptactvo - zpevné a velké labute, volavky.
Videt zde mužete i placheho Lednácka.
Na moste pres tuto lokalitu jsou umísteny informacní tabule s popisem jednotlivých druhu ptáku, kterí zde hnízdí.
Tato lokalita patrí do chránené krajinné oblasti Horní Berounka.
Berounka River forms at the site several meanders to slow the water flow to allow the occasional spilling of water from the river bed and support the growth of marshes and wetlands. This is where different types of nesting waterfowl.
Among the most represented species include coot, several species of grebes. Nesting birds are also great - and great singing swans, herons.
You can also see the shy kingfisher.
The bridge over this site are placed information boards describing the various species of birds that nest here.
This site belongs to a protected area of the Upper Berounka.
