The Cades Cove/Thompson-Brown House Museum is housed in the historic (150-year old) Thompson/Brown log house. The museum houses house-hold items and clothing donated by the descendents of Cades Cove residents who were forced to vacate the Cove when the Great Smoky Mountains National Park was established. The museum is run by volunteers and is funded by donations.
