Pamona's city hall is located in the Pamona civic center. The building is across from the city's library. Between the two civic buildings is a public open space. The rectangular city hall is a mixture of glass and cement. The windows of the city hall seem to be encased by cement beams stretching from the bottom to top of the building. The main entrance of the building has a permanent covering to it.
The city is the fifth largest in Los Angeles county. It's nestled between the Inland Empire and the San Gabriel Valley. It's population is 149,473.
The city is the home to Cal Poly Pomona university.
