Baby Jim’s Snack Bar is a Culpeper Landmark, which has been owned and operated by the Jenkins Family since 1947. You can choose to stand and eat at the counter inside or use the picnic tables outside, but most place orders to go. Baby Jim’s is open from 4:30am to 3:00pm. The odd hours are to better serve Amtrak’s morning rail commuters heading into D.C. and the city’s many shift workers. As you drive down North Main Street you can’t help but notice the red, white and blue neon sign that stands out front. The vintage neon and steel sign is in excellent condition and it’s one of the best examples you will find in the state.
