These interesting Ecclesiastical Sculptures are locate at the east end of St Andrews Chapel in the north west corner of the church. This part of the church was added in 1882 by J D Sedding (Nicholaus Pevsner)

The six large figures in St Andrew's chapel are famous Christians and are individually name on the plinths on which they stand. On the left is St Jerome who translated the Scriptures into Latin. Then St Ambrose who encouraged congregations to sing to the Lord. John the Baptists mother, Elizabeth is next followed by the Blessed Virgin Mary. Besides her is Pope Gregory, founder of the modern Christian faith and finally St Augustine , who brought the Christain faith to Britain on the right.
Underneath are depicted six episodes in the life of Mary, Mother of Jesus, to whom the church is dedicated.
