Realistic statue of an older man seated on a bench befriending a little girl
Waymark Code: WM9RD7
Location: California, United States
Date Posted: 09/24/2010
Views: 7
The old man sits on the bench, leaning forward with his arms on his knees, holding two pieces of candy bar which he is showing to the girl. She is small and thin, dressed in a white quilted outfit and holding a blue blankie which drapes on the ground. Her lowered head makes it hard to read her expression. A small rag doll with blue and white clothes lies on the bench next to the man's right side. Of his clothing only the open shirt color is colored white, the rest is natural bronze.
The artist cast his statues in editions of up to seven; five copies of Generation Bridge are known to be installed in various locations, and one copy is known to be available for temporary public exhibitions.
