Located about a 1/3 of a mile north of Midway Avenue in Dixon, California, the VacaDixon Solar Station is apparently one of the first of many smaller-scale PV plants to be built by PG&E. This plant was completed in 2010 and occupies approximately 16 acres near the VacaDixon Substation. The low-rise PV panels and structures are barely visible from nearby rural roadways. Entrance at 5138 Midway Road off of I-80.
