The Ferris Wheel, one of the oldest rides at the CNE, is still queen of the midway, attracting 60,000 people. Its ample seating ensures it doesn't have the longest line-up: that distinction belongs to the Polar Express, which whips fairgoers around backwards.

The Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) is open the last 3 weeks of the summer closing on Labour Day Monday (August 20 to September 6, 2010).
