The Heimatmuseum Reinach was founded in 1961 by the local guild "Zunft zu Rebmessern" that still maintains it. The museum moved to the current location near the church in 1988.
The focus of the museum is on local craft, small trade and farming of the past centuries.
There is also a gallery room for temporary exhibitions of contemporary local artists.
