David and Laurel Kane operate a Route 66 memorabilia and vintage car museum out of this 1930's era DX service station. Now called Afton Station, this vintage building contains items from the heyday of Route 66, and the nearby Buffalo Ranch, as well as showcases David's 14 restored Packards. It is definitely a must-see stop on your next trip down The Mother Road.
It is open from 9:30-3:00 on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and available by appointment. Call 918-257-4044 or 918-791-5055.
Afton Station was awarded the 2009 Route 66 Business of the Year award at the national Route 66 Festival in Flagstaff, AZ in November 2009.
