Wormley Wood is a beautiful location to visit and walk in. In autumn there is an abundance of fungi.
This coal post is pictured in the Wikipedia entry about Coal Tax Posts, however, since that picture was taken, as can be seen here, it has been straightened up.
The lane that this would have stood by, is a prominent feature of the walk from the car park to the coal post which is in good condition.
