"The Ove Health Care Center was built in 1929. This building is significant in that it started the modernization of brick structures to be built in te future. No longer were the wooden firetraps to be built. Brick and concrete were safer and lasted longer. The Ove had inpatient and outpatient services, as well as routine surgery capacities. The Ove still stands today and is used for the Veterans Assistance Program. This building is in the National register of Historic Places."
