This is one of many granite posts used to mark points on the boundary lines between towns in Massachusetts, in this case, the Town of Hamilton and the Town of Wenham. The letter "H" (for Hamilton) is inscribed on the top. It is approximately six inches square and two inches high.

The marker is located on the lawn near the southeast corner of Savoy Road and Howard Street. A town line sign post is directly across Howard Street.
