The gorgeous view across the harbour is well highlighted here with a seat to sit and admire and two information boards. This sign is accompanied by another detailing Poole Flying Boats and Seaplanes.
There are a few text boxes on the sign detailing the area. As one of the largest harbours in the world Poole has some important and varied habitats supporting a wide range of wildlife. As such, the area and flora and fauna are protected.
Birds travel from far and wide to come to Poole Harbour. During the winter months the Brent Goose can be seen here whilst the Sandwich Tern stay in the summer. Other birds commonly seen are listed on the board and include Gulls, Ducks, Godwit and Sandpiper.
