This old church dates mainly to the 13th century and is an unusual shape with many different levels. The two windows are colourful and show different scenes.

The first shows a biblical scene with the following inscription:
'He is not here for he is risen
To the Glory of God and to the dear memory of Harriet widow of Henry Compton of Minstead manor house who died March 18th 1909.
This window is the gift of her daughter Harriet Dunn Gardner.'

The second shows angels and a knight with the following words:
'To the Glory of God and in loving memory of Henry Richard Compton
Lieut: Coldstream Guards born Oct 12th 1899, died November 1923.'
