Marble Canyon offers spectacular limestone cliffs and beautiful lakes. Trout fishing and swimming are popular here. There is a 30 unit campground, although it is definitely designed more for tenters than RV's, as the majority of the units are down a stairway from the parking area. Pavilion Lake is home to a coral-like feature called stromatolites, one of the few places in the world where they are found in freshwater. Information on the Pavilion Lake Research Project can be found through the link on the "Culture and Nature" section of the website as given below.
