This Waymark is showing two signs and two pieces of a wall.
If you follow the Tanezroufte track from Reggane to Gao, you will come along this crossing.
The Algerian Border town is Bordj Badji Mokhtar
It is a desert town in southwestern Algeria (in Adrar Province) near the border with Mali, served by Bordj Mokhtar Airport.
The border town in Mali is Tessalit
It is a city in Mali's Kidal Region. The town is both a Commune and the capital of Tessalit Cercle (district). Population is about 2.500.
Tessalit is an oasis in the Sahara desert and a frequent stop for trans-Saharan travelers.
Travelling in this area is quite dangerous. Not of desert risks, but because of terrorism, kidnapping from Touareg, Al-Qaida im Maghreb.
Be sure inform yourself about the regional risks.
