From the guidebook, we learn:
Woodrow Wilson Junior High School, 25th and Popular Sts, is a Collegiate Gothic in design. The famous Wilson Murals on the north and south walls of the main entrance hall are gifts to the school by Gilbert Wilson, of Terre Haute, an outstanding painter of murals in the modern style.

---- Indiana: A Guide to the Hoosier State, 1941

Built in 1926, the archectural design provides a main clock tower, chimera, and even the powerhouse stack was constructed to this standard. Still an outstanding school.
