Cattlemen's Steakhouse has been open since 1910. It began by serving cowboys, ranchers, and cattle haulers who wandered around the stockyards in Oklahoma City.

Because of the late hours it kept, Cattlemen's attracted a "lively" crowd. It's reputation continued through Prohibition. The romance of this place was enhanced as Cattlemen's changed hands in the 1950s via a bet in a craps game.
It is the only place listed in Oklahoma as a must see.
For the visitor, the restaurant hearkens to an older style restaurant. The food is very good, but what would you expect from a steakhouse? Fine dining, however, it is not. Expect to see cowboy hats among the patrons.

Localized waymark sites (Structures, Landmarks, Businesses) should reflect standard waymarking visit criteria (Logs & photos).
