This aviary, which straddles Bryant Creek, has been a popular place to bring the kids and watch the birds since it was built in July of 1983. The city budget axe has threatened it once or twice, but vocal support from the citizens of Walla Walla have kept it safe. There is no public access to the insides of the aviary, but paved paths make all of the displays accessible to those with limited mobility. It is open year round.
