Long Description:
The memorial is in the grounds of Jesus Church, Troutbeck adjacent to the main road. The memorial consists of a tall celtic cross atop a three stage plinth.
The top stage of the plinth bears the inscription
ERECTED BY THE
INHABITANTS OF TROUTBECK
IN MEMORY OF
The second stage of the plinth carries the names of the fallen.
The bottom stage of the plinth bears the inscription
WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR GOD, KING AND COUNTRY
IN THE GREAT WAR 1914- 1918.
