This is in a modest garden in front of the Grange which is a community center for the Live Oak neighborhood. This is the only six-sided design I have seen, and also the only one (so far) to use a language I didn't recognize.
The Japanese side is copied directly from the founder of the Peace Pole movement, Masahisa Goi. His calligraphy is unconventional and beautiful.
