Located a little away from most of the other embassies in Phnom Penh, is the embassy for Russia. The black uniformed Cambodian guards outside the embassy main gate did not look too happy when I, holding a camera, gazed across the road at their embassy. So, I took only a few snaps, and those from within the grounds of a Buddhist temple, directly across from the embassy gate.
The Russian embassy has thick, yellow coloured, and concrete looking walls, topped with barbed wire. Not the most inviting embassy in the city.
The plaque of the front gate says:
"Embassy of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Cambodia"
I searched for the website of the embassy. I found several claiming to be the website, but seemed little more than scammers. The best option is listed here, however, as I cannot speak Russian, I can not be sure that it is the real deal.
