The Escambia County Veterans Memorial is located on the lawn of the Escambia County Courthouse. It consists of a black granite obelisk surrounded by four black granite markers. The four markers have etched images on the front representing the respective wars and are topped by brass plaques bearing the word "Taps" and the names of those killed in the wars. On the back of the obelisk are the names of two people who were awarded the Medal of Honor.

Description of Memorial:
The Escambia County Veterans Memorial is located on the lawn of the Escambia County Courthouse. It consists of a black granite obelisk surrounded by four black granite markers. The four markers have etched images on the front representing the respective wars and are topped by brass plaques bearing the word "Taps" and the names of those killed in the wars.
Also located on the courthouse lawn are two post-Civil War Columbiad rifles mounted on pillars.
