The commemoration is a large brown marker made of big block with a bronze marker set into the front. To the front is an asphalt jobbing path , a foot away, twenty feet or so away to the rear is the Newtown Lake. The marker is located on a very windy road which I have been traveling for years. For some reason I never bothered to notice it until now. It is in decent shape, the bronze, long turned green. It needs some repointing here and there. The marker is seventy-two years old, the town now being one hundred twenty-two years old.

The marker reads

I am somewhat familiar with the area and I was surprised that Collingswood Masonic Lodge was not represented on the plaque. Their Eastern Star and Amaranth, two apendent bodies of Masonry, were represented. Makes you wonder. Parking is down the street and to the right.
