In the West Roxbury section of Boston that is on the edge of the city line with Newton, there is the cemetery, Gardens at Gethsemane, a place tucked away on an access road from Baker Street. In this cemetery is a small plot dedicated to those who served in the military that has a few memorials that includes this bench.

On this stone bench is an inscription with a logo. The logo has the words surrounding an image of the state of Massachusetts plus some portions of other states (I believe). The words around the logo state: "Korean War Memorial - 1950 - 1953." To the right is the following inscription: "Dedicated to the 129000 who served from Massachusetts - Honoring the 1506 KIA/MIA [Killed in Action/Missing in Action]."

The bench faces other graves of former military people who served in various wars all the way back to World War I.

Gardens at Gethsemane is at the end of a narrow road that is off Baker Street. The entrance is the same entrance to go to the Brook Farm site. Once you reach the entrance to the cemetery, take the left fork and the site is immediately to the left.

There is a page about the veteran's plot on the cemetery's web site. Not much else is provided. In addition to the bench, there is a black MIA flag next to the U.S. flag, and at the split is a cannon that was once on the Frigate, U.S.S. Constitution.
