The playground is divided into three parts, all in a row. Starting at the left is an old swing set, probably from the 70s or before, in the middle is a commercial, plastic, compact playground set with the usual slide, jungle gym bars, dizzy walkway and climbing and crawling areas. To the right, on the end, is a see saw set, also probably 40 years old or more.
From my previous waymark
Landin Park is located on Evesham Avenue just before the border with Lawnside. This park offers playground equipment as well as grassy areas for picnicking (benches), and basketball. This parcel of ground was dedicated on May 31, 1954 by Mayor Francis Scott and Borough Council in honor of Eugene Landin who was Magnolia's first World War I amputee.
The park is all but impossible to find as the entrance is small, well hidden and practically invisible. The entrance is dirt and not car accessible. I parked on the shoulder of the road which was ILLEGAL. The closest legal parking is at least 400 feet away, and probably more. The park is obviously neglected as weeds and high grass are everywhere and the basketball court is terrible. This place needs a makeover!
