To get to Laura's Tower:
Starting at the famous Red Lion Inn, go south on South Street (route 7) for about 0.2 miles, turn lef on Park Street and park at the end. There are two trails here. The one to the left is The Mary Flynn Trail, across the suspension bridge is a trail tha crosses the Housatonic Railroad. This trail splits about 0.25 miles up the mountain. The right trail leads to Ice Glen, the left trail climbs the mountain in several switchbacks to Laura's Rest, where Laura's Tower stands. The climb to the tower is fairly steep and difficult, but well worth the effort.
Climb the tower and view, New York, Massachusetts, and Vermont.
Height of Look-Out Tower in feet: 40.00
Difficulty:
Opening times and fees: Open Year Round, during daylight hours.
A recommendation is to avoid the trails in the winter.
