CABOOSE HEAVEN in central Illinois!
Trusty IL Cabeese (
visit link) led me to this spot (after finding the Cisco caboose). The place was closed but still completely accessible for my wanderings. Cabeese, engines and more abounded. The list below includes all from the online site - I was able to find and photograph those in the first group. (I added the types in parentheses, if not already supplied.)
The coordinates put you in the middle of the action. It is likely that the cabooses will be moved around the yard over time so the actual location may differ.
