The clock stands in the centre of the main road through the town's shopping centre. It was presented to the town in 1906 by G.M. Turner as a memorial to his wife who died in 1891. It was damaged by a landmine in 1940. The clock was restored by the Kenilworth Urban District Council in 1973/4.
