In Sharon, at the intersection of Moose Hill Street and S. Main Street is the Moose Hill Community Farm, with a barn that has solar panels on its roof.

These 28 photovoltaic panels in four rows of seven panels were installed in March 2010 and are now operational. The installation was part of Moose Hill Massachusetts Audubon Sanctuary's construction project in 2010 which included a new addition and solar panels at their nature center about a mile away. This provides the barn with most or all of its electrical needs during the growing season. Not much else is provided about the system. There is a blog entry about the installation, provided below.

As this is a community farm in the format of Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), produce is provided to the members who subscribed to the farm. Nothing is left for sale to the general public. But, Ward's Berry Farm, which is down the street (toward I-95), who is a partner in this community farm, sells their own produce at their place.
Type of system: Photovoltaic (electrical)
