The official Parks Canada webpage has some details about planning your visit.
Kemp Construction built the museum and it cost approximately $7.5 million. Kemp's website says: Constructed for Parks Canada, the Canada Marine Discovery Centre is a state of the art, visual masterpiece. Located on Hamilton’s Waterfront at Pier 8, the CMDC is contributing to the beautification and revitalization of this invaluable resource. The 23,000 square foot museum uses a unique ground source heat recovery technology that has never before been used in Canada.
There is a surprising lack of information available online about people's experiences during their visit so please add detailed logs about your trip here!
