Weyauwega & Rural Fire Department - Firehouses on Waymarking.com

This is the new Weyauwega, WI firehouse on the corner of West Washington Street and North Pine Street the address is 116 W. Washington St. This fire house sits next to the old firehouse at 108 W. Washington St. The old sign reads Weyauwega Fire Dept but the New sign on the new firehouse reads Weyauwega and Rural Fire Dept. I thought that was interesting. The bell in front of the New Firehouse was the bell that summoned the volunteer fireman before the modern methods. This fire dept works with other fire depts in the neighboring communities to support each other in time of need.
