This bridge was clearly intended to be part of a longer walking path... a path which now runs 100 yards on one side of the bridge and 30 on the other.

Tragic, really. It's a beautiful bridge but has been eclipsed by the state highway that runs over the same creek. The accessible side of the bridge has a small gravel walking path leading to it, which runs into the concrete base of the larger, newer bridge and some farm fields fenced with barbed wire just feet on the other side of the bridge.
