Darling, a community from the early 1900's no longer exists, but the no longer used church and the still active cemetery are well maintaind and quite scenic and beautiful. The church, established in 1893, was closed in 1969.
In the early 1900's the murder of a young local girl took place in or near the church, and it has always remained a bit of local lore and mystery. There was even a book written about a few years back.
Though the church no longer holds services it is a peaceful and serene building and grounds.
