This road sign identifies the Tropic of Capricorn which crosses the Aramac - Ilfracombe Rd just North of the tiny outback town of Ilfracombe in the state of Queensland, Australia.

This road to the small town of Aramac is not heavily used making this a little known marker for the Tropic.

The sign simply reads:
" Tropic of Capricorn
23 26.5' South"

I visited this point late in the afternoon and enjoyed a spectacular outback sunset!
