On the Southwest corner of 7th Street and Manvel Avenue (Route 66) is a classic Phillips 66 cottage-style gas station from the 1930's. It is currently in the process of being restored.
Owner, Bill Fernau purchased the property in January 1999. He is meticulous in researching building details from the Phillips 66 archives. His plan is to make this an operational service station again, selling gas from vintage pumps and operating a repair shop.
