Thomas Roy Musick was born October 10, 1757 in Spottsylvania,Virginia. When he was 17 he had a falling out with his father and became a preacher in North Carolina. During the Revolutionary War he served as a Private in 1776 in Maj Richard Johnson Regiment, from 1778-79 Capt Wm Nevil Co., Col Parson Reg. Captured twice,he escaped or was exchanged in time to be at Lord Cornwallis surrender at Yorktown. In 1803 he started what became Fee Fee Baptist Church which was founded in 1807. The first church building was built in 1815. He died December 2, 1842.
